A tour in Kibbutz Kinneret

Kibbutzim played a key role in shaping Israel’s identity and pioneering spirit. The word "kibbutz" means "gathering" and refers to a unique collective community based on socialist ideals and shared living.

On our tour of Kibbutz Kinneret, we’ll explore the founding principles behind this ideology and see the original site where the first buildings were built through hard manual labor.

We’ll learn about the community institutions that ensured equality by sharing property, resources, and work to meet members’ needs.

We’ll also visit the palm groves brought back from Arab countries under dangerous conditions – one of the kibbutz’s main economic branches alongside agriculture and industry.

Finally, we’ll discuss how kibbutz life has evolved from full collectivism to privatization, while maintaining a strong sense of community and culture.

Tour by advance reservation only.
